MADAME MARIKA BRINGING SHADE TO THE STREETS

Its strange how paths miss and cross and reconvene once more. I came to New York right around the time when Marika (http://wartimerecess.blogspot.com) moved back to Hawaii. We have mutual friends, and an obvious mutual love for black clothing, boots, and leather! Naturally since she was in town, we had to meet up. She came wearing leather leggings and LOTS of Ann Demeulemeester.

There's nothing I love more than sexy friends dripping in layers of black. Also great to run into the amazing Nikki (of DirtyFlaws fame) again. She only bounces into NYC every blue moon, but hopefully I'll be seeing more of her soon!

I couldn't get over Laia (GeometricSleep)'s double cat ensemble. Miu Miu (meow!) cat collar + leopard sweater combination was genius, mixed with her Alexander Wang knee socks and Acne platforms all summed up to a look that screamed "fierce bittttttchhh".
